The regular season is around the corner for the Belleville Senators.
The Ottawa Senators farm team will open the new AHL season on the road Saturday, October 14th against the Hershey Bears.
Belleville Senators fans will gather at the CAA arena the following week for the home opener on Saturday, October 21. The Belleville Senators will hit the ice against the Laval Rocket.
Ahead of the game, Sens fans will be able to cheer on the players as they walk the red carpet at 4 p.m. Family activities will take place at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre gym. There will be a magic show, carnival games, balloon artist and more to get young fans ready for puck drop.
The Belleville Senators note in a statement this week, that the CAA Member Lounge will be open throughout the home-opener. Members will be able to get player autographs in the courtyard from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The first 300 CAA members in the gym will receive a free hotdog and drink.
Hockey fans will recieve a cowbell for the home opener courtesy of CAA. Cowbells were a popular item during the days of the Belleville Bulls.
