The Holiday Break has arrived!
Loyalist College in Belleville is now closed to the public. We have some magical elves letting us in to get ready for the Top 91 Countdown of 2023. Loyalist College will re-open on January 3rd as classes start back up again on January 9th.
The following is a list of statements from municipalities outlining service changes over the holidays.
Belleville:
- City Hall – Open from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Dec. 22 and 29. Closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
- Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Special schedule from Dec. 22 to Jan. 7. For more details, visit: QSWC.ca.
- Transit – Service ends at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 24. No service on Dec. 25, 26 or Jan 1.
- Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed for the season.
- Thurlow Landfill – No change to regular public hours. Closed Dec. 26 for industrial use.
- Belleville Public Library – Closed on Dec. 24, 25, 26 and Jan. 1. Closes early on Dec. 31 at 4 p.m.
There will be no changes to curbside garbage, green bin, recycling and bulky items collection. Curbside Christmas tree collection will run from Jan. 2 through Jan. 8. The collection schedule can be found at Belleville.ca/YardWaste.
