In this edition of Campus Conversations, you’ll meet Mustafa Alali. He’s second-year student in the registered nursing degree program who’s found Loyalist College to be a welcoming community in more ways than one. Alali and his family fled the civil war in Syria, spent time in a refugee camp in Lebanon, and eventually settled in Ontario. Arriving at Loyalist in September 2021, Alali has been an RA in the College’s residence, and a member of the Lancers’ cross-country team. His academic and athletic excellence has earned him two National Scholar Awards.
