From: Belleville/Napanee
Today we have a radio exclusive! We first learned about the four-piece band in February, when they opened a sold-out show for Kingston band The Wilderness. Third Time’s A Charm formed thanks to Harmony Lounge and Music Club. The non-profit offers a variety of programs for youth throughout the week. They are based at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church in Napanee. Teens outside the town are welcome.
Ryland Murray from Belleville, was recruited to join Third Time’s A Charm. The lead singer and guitarist has fit right in! Third Time’s A Charm won first place over the weekend in the high school category, at a Battle of the Bands contest in Kingston. Their debut single, “Fading Innocence,” will officially be released on Saturday. They will also be playing a show Saturday night at The Smokin’ 116 Bistro.
Ryland and fellow band member Brock, join us for an interview today! Listen to the interview and the 91X Indie Song of the Day, today at 8:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 7:15 p.m.
