The owner of Fosterholm Farms in Prince Edward County has died.
Clifford Foster died on Monday in his home. He was 93.
Foster was a staple at the Belleville Farmers Market.
He is fondly remembered by many Loyalist College students in media programs. Foster was often one of their first interviews outside of the classroom. He was patient and kind with every student and would light up when they asked him about his farm.
The Foster family has announced that a celebration of life will take place in September, to coincide with the 100th anniversary of farm. The family is requesting that donations be made to the local food bank in Clifford’s memory.
