Belleville Police continue to investigate graffiti incidents at the Field of Ability

Belleville Police have released the following statement today.

 

Police continue to investigate previously reported graffiti incidents at the Field of Ability – Parkdale Veterans Park

The Belleville Police Service continue to actively investigate three separate incidents of vandalism which occurred at the Field of Ability – Parkdale Veterans Park located at 119 Birch Street in the city’s west end. The incident dates were the 10 th of January 2024, the 26 th of April 2024 and the 27 th of May 2024.

The Field of Ability created a fully accessible baseball facility where everyone can participate in a fun, safe and barrier free environment.

The graffiti appears to be similar in each of the incidents and city staff members provided CCTV footage and still images of the suspect who painted the distinctive markings on various areas during the last two incidents.
