The City of Belleville has released the following statement.
Civic Holiday Service Changes
Please note the following changes to City services this Civic Holiday long weekend:
- City Hall – Closed Aug. 5.
- Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Customer service desk closed and no recreation programs on Aug. 3, 4 and 5. Regular ice and FDC Track open.
- Kinsmen Community Outdoor Pool – Open Aug. 3, 4 and 5 for a special schedule. Pre- registration is required. For more information and to register, visit QSWC.ca.
- Transit – Regular transit and mobility transit will NOT run on Aug. 5.
- Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed Aug. 5.
- Thurlow Landfill – No change to regular public hours.
- Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot – Closed Aug. 3.
- Glanmore National Historic Site – Closed Aug. 5.
- Belleville Public Library – Closed Aug. 5.
- Community Archives – Closed Aug. 5.
There will be no changes to curbside garbage, green bin, recycling or bulky items collection.
