A by-election will be held in the Bay of Quinte riding on September 19th.
The move comes after Bay of Quinte MPP and Education Minister Todd Smith, representing the Conservatives, resigned earlier this month to take a job in the private sector.
The following candidates have been announced to date:
-Ontario PC Party: Tyler Allsopp, Belleville City Councillor
-Ontario Liberal Party: Sean Kelly, Belleville City Councillor
-Ontario NDP: Amanda Robertson, School Board Trustee
