Local residents are off to the ballot box.
A by-election in Bay of Quinte riding has been called, following the resignation of MPP Todd Smith last month.
Seven candidates are on the ballot:
- Tyler Allsopp – Ontario Progressive Conservatives
- Lori Borthwick – Green Party
- Sean Kelly – Liberals
- Amanda Robertson – NDP
- Margaret Schuler – New Blue Party
- Mark Snow – Libertarian
- John Turmel – Independent
91X has offered all candidates a chance to share their platforms on “In Touch With Quinte.” Earlier this month we aired interviews with Lori Borthwick of the Green Party and Amanda Robertson from the NDP.
On Friday, we had a chance to talk with Mark Snow from the Libertarian Party.
Here is our interview with Liberal candidate Sean Kelly that was recorded earlier this week on Monday.
Today is the last day we can air interviews ahead of the election advertising blackout period. We did not hear back from Margaret Schuler of the New Blue Party and independent John Turmel. Tyler Allsopp’s campaign office expressed interest, but we never heard back about an interview time.
