Loyalist College students in the PR and Event Management program have had a busy week.
The team wrapped up their Move-A-Thon walk yesterday, from Market Square to West Zwick’s Park in Belleville. Student Molly Ferguson joined us earlier this week to talk about the fundraiser for United Way Hastings Prince Edward.
The class has announced another fundraiser today called, “Shoot 4 Loot.” The basketball event will be held at the Loyalist College gym on November 8th. People will be able to purchase a chance to make a hoop from noon to 2 p.m.
The cost is $2 for one chance at a basket, and $5 for 3 chances.
The will be a three on three basketball game from 10 a.m. to noon on November 8th. They have space for 10 teams to register. Registration is now open and the entry fee is $50 per team. The money will go towards United Way Hastings Prince Edward.
