The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Team has released the following statement this week.
As part of a recent joint statement issued with Quinte Health and Hastings Prince Edward Public Health about taking charge and protecting yourself this respiratory season, COVID, Cold and Flu Care Clinics have been scheduled throughout the region to help reduce the spread of respiratory viruses.
These seasonal clinics are open to anyone – those with and without a primary care provider. If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever, sore throat, sinus congestion, new or worse cough or shortness of breath, with or without vomiting or diarrhea, you can now book an appointment and be seen in person by a physician or nurse practitioner.
Appointments must be booked in advance. No walk-in appointments are available.
Individuals are reminded to bring their Health Card and a list of current medications to appointments.
Details for the clinics are as follows:
• Bancroft: Bancroft Community Family Health Team (Tuesdays 5 pm – 8 pm & Saturdays 11 am – 2 pm)
• Belleville: Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (Mondays & Fridays 5 pm – 8 pm)
• Picton: Prince Edward Family Health Team (Thursdays 5 pm – 8 pm)
• Trenton: Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (Sundays 9 am – 12 pm)
