
Two representatives from non-profits in the region, joined us on “In Touch With Quinte.”
Natalie O’Toole from Three Oaks, kicked off the show to talk about the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Today, White Ribbon Day, marks the 35th anniversary of the tragedy at Polytechnique Montreal. There will be a vigil this morning at 11 a.m. at The Core Centre in downtown Belleville.
Richelle Ludtke from Trenton MFRC, then joined us to talk about the importance of the centre and how people can take part in their first province-wide 50/50 draw. The winner will be announced on December 19th.
