The committee behind the Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair, has released the following statement today.
The Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair (QRSTF) is gearing up for its annual event on April 5, 2025, and is in need of volunteers to serve as judges. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals and enthusiasts alike to inspire the next generation of innovators and scientists.
To prepare for this rewarding experience, two judges’ orientation meetings are scheduled for March 18th and 19th, 2025. During these sessions, potential judges will receive guidance on the judging process, criteria for evaluation, and insights on how to effectively communicate with young participants about their projects.
By becoming a judge at the QRSTF, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and enthusiasm among students in the Quinte area. Your background and expertise can significantly impact these young minds, helping them grow and excel in their scientific pursuits.
Whether you have a background in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM), or simply a passion for encouraging youth, we invite you to participate. Joining us not only allows you to contribute to the community but also provides a unique chance to witness innovative projects firsthand created by budding scientists.
For more information or to register as a judge, please visit our website or contact us directly. (www.qrstf.ca orqrstf@live.com ) Together, we can empower the youth of Quinte to reach new heights in their scientific endeavors!
