The City of Quinte West has released the following statement this week.
Quinte West seeks community input on draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan at public open house
A public open house is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 to receive input and ideas on Quinte West’s draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
When: Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, from 4 – 7 p.m.
Where: Trent Port Marina, 15 Creswell Dr., Trenton
This drop-in open house will welcome those who live, work and play in Quinte West to learn more about the draft plan and provide feedback on the proposed recommendations. Following the open house, the community can provide feedback through the City’s engagement page, getinvolved.quintewest.ca, until mid-March.
The City began developing a new Parks and Recreation Master Plan in 2024 to provide strategic direction on how the City should invest in parks, open spaces and recreational facilities for the next 15 years.
Input received at the open house and online, and feedback from the 2024 community survey, will be used to finalize the draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The draft plan will be presented to Quinte West Council in spring 2025.
