Emergency response exercise taking place at CFB Trenton Wednesday

There will be a training exercise at CFB Trenton this week.

The Department of National Defence has announced that the emergency response exercise will take place on Wednesday at the base.

Members from the 8 Operations Support Squadron will be carrying boxes and hand tools as apart of the exercise. Staff add that the training weapons used will be blue, to avoid any confusion with the real thing.

There will be no road closures and no risk to public safety during the event.
