Lennox and Addington OPP have provided an update about a fatal collision that took place on Highway 401 near Napanee last year.
Police have announced in a statement today, that they have charged a driver.
The five-vehicle collision took place on September 18th, 2024 at roughly 10 p.m. The incident on Highway 401 westbound east of Napanee, between the County Road 5 and Switzerland Road overpass, involved two transport trucks and three passenger vehicles.
Police add that one person died at the scene, while other people were sent to hospital with injuries.
Police have announced that on May 8th, they arrested and charged Gursewak Singh. The 25-year-old from Brantford has been charged with dangerous operation causing death and two counts of dangerous operation causing bodily harm.
He has been released with a Napanee court date in early June.
