Prince Edward County Museums re-opening today for the season

The Victoria Day long weekend marks the start of the season for five museums in Prince Edward County.

The Ameliasburgh Heritage Village on County Road 19, Wellington Heritage Museum, and Macauley Heritage Park in Picton are all now open from Wednesday to Sunday. The Mariners Park Museum in the South Bay area is open Friday to Sunday.

All the museums are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Ameliasburgh Heritage Village will have special actors today to Sunday. The volunteers will be firing muskets and a canon as apart of special programming for the long weekend. Residents in the area may notice some noise. The team is not firing any live rounds.
