Canada Day will have a bit of an extra punch of patriotism to it with the U.S tariff situation.
The City of Belleville has released the event schedule for July 1st today. Activities will once again be at West Zwick’s Park.
The day will kick off with a Kiwanis pancake breakfast at 9:30 a.m. The main activities will start at 11 a.m. with a variety of free shows. The City is planning Hot Diggity dog shows, balloon twisting, and face painting. There will also be carriage rides and a hula hoop area.
Music will start on the main stage at 11 a.m. The lineup features Kingston indie band Tiny Horse, Andy Forgie and DJ closer to the fireworks at dusk.
On site parking will be $5 per vehicle. Proceeds will go to a variety of community organizations. City buses from the downtown terminal and Quinte Mall will be free from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
