The City of Belleville is launching two rebate programs aimed at increasing the number of housing units.
The first program is the New Housing Rebate. Home buyers who add additional units to a new build will be able to receive a $5,000 rebate for each unit.
The second program is the Existing Housing and Detached Accessory Buildings Rebate. Those who create accessory dwelling units on their property will be eligible for a $5,000 rebate per unit.
The two rebate programs are apart of the City’s action plan.
