The Community Development Council of Quinte, known as CDC Quinte, offers local residents a chance to access fresh food and essential items at a reduced rate. The good food boxes and good baby boxes continue to provide essential support for those struggling to pay the bills and feed their families.
CDC Quinte has announced that they have teamed up with RainBarrel.ca to offer rolling composters and rain barrels at a reduced cost.
People can order both or just one, up until June 17th. The team has access to 299 rain barrels this year. The items will be handed out as apart of a BBQ event on Thursday, June 24th.
Residents who wish to order good food boxes must place their order this month by June 17th.
