Prince Edward County has released the lineup for their annual events leading up to Canada Day.
To recognize Indigenous History Month, on June 21st, which is National Indigenous Peoples Day there will be a concert at the Regent Theatre. Award-winning Mohawk artist Tom Wilson will be in town for a show.
Pride Month will be celebrated with Pride In The Park and a parade on Saturday, June 28th. There will be a parade starting at PECI at noon and work around the Picton area until 1 p.m. Delhi Park will be the site for games and activities from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Fireworks and a street dance is planned in Wellington again on Monday, June 30th. Cue The Funk will start the music at the gazebo in Wellington Park at 5:30 p.m.
The annual Canada Day parade in Wellington on July 1st will start at 10:30 a.m. Canada Day events will also be held in downtown Picton from noon to 4 p.m.
