St. Alban’s Centre marking the 241st anniversary of the United Empire Loyalists landing in the region

The United Empire Loyalists arrived in Adolphustown 241 years ago!

St. Alban’s Centre will be celebrating the milestone with their annual landing celebration. One of the highlights will be a service on Sunday at 2 p.m. led by Reverend Canon Donald A. Bailey. There will be tea served on the lawn after.

Guests will also be able to see a new documentary by John Brebner, “The Mary Ruttan Story.” The Ruttan family arrived just near the Centre on June 16, 1784 after travelling up the St. Lawrence to Sorel, and eventually to the Kingston region.

United Empire Loyalist Day is June 19th.
