A pedestrian suffered head and face injuries as a result of a collision over the weekend in Belleville.
Police responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and vehicle on Sunday at 2:22 a.m. The incident happened near North Front Street and Tracey Street.
The vehicle fled the scene. However, the bumper and license plate to the vehicle was left at the crash site.
Belleville Police have charged the 24-year-old driver from Napanee with dangerous operation causing bodily harm, impaired operation causing bodily harm, and failing to stop at the scene of a collision. The driver has a July court date.
