Belleville Police have announced that officers responded to just over 100 calls for service in the last 24-hours.
Among them, was a trip to a hotel along North Front Street about an unwanted woman. Belleville Police arrived and spoke with the 29-year-old of no fixed address just after 10 p.m. yesterday. Police claim that she told officers she was staying with a friend, but was unable to remember her friend’s name or the room number. Hotel staff told police that she was not associated with any guest or room.
When the woman refused to leave the site, officers arrested her under the Trespass to Property Act. She was eventually released from custody.
