The future of healthcare was front and center again at the Prince Edward County Council meeting last night.
Council has signed off on buying a piece of land in Picton on MacSteven Drive.
Prince Edward County is moving ahead with establishing a medical centre on site, in an effort to attract health care professionals. The move is similar to what Quinte West Council did in recent years.
The cost of the property was not revealed during the public portion of the meeting.
