The cooling centre remains open in Trenton this week.
Quinte West opened the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena as a cooling centre back on Monday.
The City activates the site when we have two straight days of a temperature at 31 degrees Celsius or higher, or if the humidex value pushes everything 35 degrees Celsius and above.
The area will remain open as a cooling centre daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Sunday, July 6th.
Splash pads remain open each day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Trenton and Frankford.
