Belleville Police are looking for a suspect in connection to thefts over the weekend.
Police say that yesterday just before 7 a.m., they were called to a business on South Church Street in Belleville, with report of a break and enter.
Officers were told that earlier in the day between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m., the front window of the business was smashed. Two Kawasaki motorcycles were stolen. One was black while the other was silver. Belleville Police add that they were not successful with attempting to stop one of the bikes.
Belleville Police were told that later in the morning, gas was stolen from a gas station along North Front Street. The suspect was driving a silver motorcycle with no license plate. The motorcycle was last seen on Highway 2 in Point Anne around 10:40 a.m.
An image of the male suspect on the bike has been released.
Belleville Police add that the suspect is wanted for break and enter, theft over $5000, dangerous driving, and failure to stop for police.
