The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is looking to celebrate residents who have done great things in their first forty years.
The idea for the new 40 Under 40 event was brought forward by local entrepreneur Matt Leonard.
The marketing board noted in a statement this week, that people can nominate others who live in Belleville, Quinte West, Napanee, Brighton, and are with the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte. Nominations are being accepted online until July 27.
Those who are nominated will then be able to formally put an application forward for the event from July 28th to August 18th.
The winners will be announced at Signal Brewery on September 18th. Tickets will be $75 per person and will include food and drinks. People can start purchasing tickets in August.
