Ontario government investing $4.45 million to help local residents access primary health care

The two local MPPs in the broader Quinte region made an announcement yesterday at the Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre.

Tyler Allsopp, the MPP for the Bay of Quinte, along with Ric Bresee, the MPP for Hastings Lennox and Addington, have revealed that the government will provide $4.45 million locally. The government added in a statement, that the money will help up to 10,675 people collectively in both local counties access a primary health care provider.

The money will go to boost eight primary care teams in the region.
