The cooling centre is back open in Trenton today.
Quinte West opened the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena as a cooling centre until Tuesday, July 29th.
The City activates the site when we have two straight days of a temperature at 31 degrees Celsius or higher, or if the humidex value pushes everything 35 degrees Celsius and above.
The area will remain open as a cooling centre daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Splash pads remain open each day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Trenton and Frankford.
