Local municipalities have issued service change updates as we get ready for the Civic long holiday weekend.
Loyalist College in Belleville will be closed as of noon on Friday, for an extended break to staff and students.
The City of Belleville has announced the following changes:
-Belleville City Hall, Glanmore House, Belleville Public Library, Leaf and Yard Waste depot will be closed on the Civic Holiday Monday – August 4th
-The Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Customer service desk will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 2, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 3 and closed Aug. 4. No recreation programs are scheduled on Aug. 2, 3 or 4. Regular ice and FDC Track will remain open.
-The Kinsmen Community Outdoor Pool, in the east end – Open Aug. 2, 3 and 4 with a modified schedule. Please pre-register to secure your space. For more information, visit QSWC.ca.
-Belleville Transit will not run on Monday, August 4th.
-Thurlow Landfill – No change to regular public hours.
-Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot – No change to regular public hours.
There will be no change to curbside garbage, green bin, recycling or bulky items collection on Monday.
