Some of the performers at Toronto’s Caribbean Festival this past weekend, will be headed to Belleville.
The celebration of Caribbean culture, food, and music will take place in Belleville from Friday, August 15th to Sunday, August 17th.
The event will start at Victoria Park on Friday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a ticketed event featuring music and DJs.
Downtown Belleville will host everyone on Saturday as the parade starts at 1 p.m. Activities in downtown Belleville will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Front Street will be closed from Bridge Street to Victoria Street on Saturday to accommodate all sorts of food vendors, buskers, a limbo contest and family activities.
A Caribbean brunch and gospel hour will wrap up the event on Sunday, August 17 at Zwick’s Park. The portion of the festival that day will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
