The results are in from the Highway 2 police patrol last month.
Quinte West OPP and Belleville Police Service conducted focused patrols along Highway 2 in July between RCAF Road to the east side of Belleville.
A joint statement by both services has revealed that a total of 326 charges were laid. Most charges were for speeding.
Police data showed that speeds were higher on roads during the peak commuter times. Police also add that drivers appeared to be distracted.
