The Belleville Senators and City of Belleville have reached a lease extension agreement that will ensure the AHL team calls Belleville home until at least the 2029-2030 hockey season. The new agreement means the BSens will continue to call the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre home. That gives the team priority use of the CAA Arena, dressing rooms and team office facilities. Belleville Senators owner Michael Andlaur says the connection between Belleville and the Senators is truly a mutually beneficial one that will continue to improve for the years to come. He added the hockey organization is committed to seeing hockey in the 613 region thrive as well as being a good corporate citizen. Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis says he is thrilled to see the partnership extended with the Senators, and Belleville is proud to be home of the Sens. Ellis says since the team arrived in 2017, its presence an involvement with the community has made a significant impact. The new deal also includes a five-year option for the Senators to extend to the end of the 2034-2035 season.
The Senators will begin their ninth AHL season on Saturday, October 11th when they visit the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. (AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers). The first home game of the 2025-2026 season will happen Saturday, October 18th when the Sens host the rival Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs).
