The Ministry of Natural Resources has shared some good news this week regarding the wildfire situation north of us.
Officials have confirmed that the wildfire is out in the Marmora and Lake area.
The wildfire impacting the Burnt River area in the Kawartha Lakes is now listed as under controlled.
A complete fire ban remains in place across the entire region.
