Belleville’s local AHL team has signed two players to contracts this week.
The Belleville Senators have inked a deal with defenseman Cameron Crotty. The 26-year-old from Ottawa has a two-year, two-way contract with the Senators.
The team has also agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with forward Jan Jenik. The 24-year-old from the Czech Republic will enter his second season with the team.
The Belleville Senators will kick off their ninth AHL season with a road game to visit the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Saturday, October 11th. The home opener will be on Saturday, October 18th against the Toronto Marlies.
