Belleville announces new water leak forgiveness adjustment program

The City of Belleville has announced a new program for residents who battle high water bills thanks to leaky taps.

The Water Leak Forgiveness Adjustment Program will be available to water customers in Belleville in good standing. Once a plumber fixes a leak, residents can apply to have their bills adjusted accordingly to offset the costs. The program is not available to commercial or rental properties.

People can apply online or in-person at City Hall.
