Construction on the Frankford Bridge / City of Quinte West.
Construction on the Frankford bridge continues this fall.
Today marks the start of the westbound lane closure. The closure will run until October 24th.
The City of Quinte West adds in a statement, that westbound traffic will be detoured north onto River Drive and around to Highway 33.
Work on the bridge started in May. The team has been tasked with repairing concrete and replacing bridge joints.
