Fall edition of the Own Jones Memorial Trash Bash

Prince Edward County has announced details about the fall trash bash.

The Owen Jones Memorial Fall Trash Bash will take place on Saturday, September 27. The event will coincide with a trash bash in Sophiasburgh.

Residents can sign up online or by e-mailing Evan Nash at evannash@gmail.com. Another option is calling the Wellington Home Hardware at 613-399-203.

The County has now made trash bash supplies available at the Wellington and Picton Home Hardware locations.

Full trash bags can be dropped off on the day of the event, for free, at the following locations.

• Picton Home Hardware (13544 Loyalist Parkway)
• Midtown Brewery parking lot (266 Wellington Main Street)
• 15 Coleman Street (Ameliasburgh), next to the works garage
• 2179 County Road 17 (Milford Town Hall), in front of the fairgrounds
• The County will also be providing a bin at the Northport/Centennial Park to support the Sophiasburgh trash bash.
