A review will take place around Belleville’s Short-Term Accommodation bylaw.
A short term accommodation is defined as a space that is rented for less than thirty days, outside of traditional spaces like hotels.
Belleville staff have announced that under the bylaw currently, STA’s can only have up to three rooms individually rented. A total of four individuals can stay in a space at one time, unless it is a home and booked under one name.
The City is looking for feedback from STA owners, and the community. An online survey is now open to the public until October 1st
