The Ontario government has released details about the fall vaccine program.
Sylvia Jones, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Health, announced on Friday that the government will once again make flu, COVID-19, and RSV vaccines available to high-risk groups and healthcare workers first.
The COVID-19 vaccines will be available to high-risk groups as of this week. Flu shots will be available the week of September 29th. Both vaccines will be available to the general public as of October 27th.
The province is expanding eligibility for the RSV Vaccine. Adults aged 75 and older and those 60 to 74 who meet high-risk criteria will be eligible for Abrysvo® or Arexvy starting today – September 22. Eligible newborns and high-risk children, and pregnant people will have access to the vaccine as of October 1st.
