Quinte Conservation has launched the holiday Adopt An Acre campaign.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will help support the Pollinator Meadow at South Potter’s Creek Conservation Area.
“The Pollinator Meadow has grown into an incredible teaching tool, allowing visitors to see up close what native plantings look like while admiring the beautiful butterflies, bees, and other pollinator species. By donating to Adopt an Acre, residents can help grow and protect the Pollinator Meadow, a living classroom, and support it through planting projects, educational signage, and meadow expansion,” said Lindsay Nash, Outreach and Stewardship Coordinator, in a statement.
Residents who with to donate, can stop by the Main Office along Highway 2 in Belleville or visit quinteconservation.ca/adopt-an-acre.
