Loyalist College receives funding for a project through the Centre For Healthy Communities

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research has awarded a grant to Loyalist College.

The College’s Centre For Healthy Communities has received $359,875. Friday’s announcement is from the Community Social Innovation Fund.

Clara Tascon, the Senior Research Specialist at the Centre, will be using the money to conduce a three-year applied research project. Tascon will be looking at ways to improve the quality of life for older adults in Prince Edward County.
