All school buses in the region cancelled, on the first day back to school for many

Not everyone is headed back to school today, following the holiday break.

Tri-Board Transportation has cancelled all school buses today, including here in Quinte, as we brace for another round of winter.

Mohawk Buses are also cancelled today along with all STSCO school buses. School will be open for families.

The update comes as the region is under a Special Weather Statement. Environment Canada is calling for 5 to 10 cm of snow today with a risk of freezing drizzle. All expected to taper off this afternoon.

Loyalist College is open today as winter orientation starts. Belleville Transit buses continue to run.
