Periods of snow coming in today, has created a snow day for students up north.
Tri-Board Transportation has cancelled school buses in North and Centre Hastings, North and Central Lennox and Addington, and North and Centre South Frontenac.
Buses are running closer to Lake Ontario, including in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County, and Napanee.
All schools will remain open for families.
Environment Canada is call for 2 to 4 cm of snow in Belleville today, while the Bancroft region could see up to 15 cm.
