A meeting between Belleville Council and two local MPPs that was scheduled yesterday afternoon, ended up cancelled at the last minute.
The notice from the City came out, less than an hour before the meeting with Bay of Quinte MPP Tyler Allsopp and Hastings, Lennox and Addington MPP Ric Bresee, was set to start.
Details regarding the cancellation have not been released by the City.
Belleville Council had requested the special meeting with local leaders back before the Christmas Holidays, looking to get overall information about new legislation and policies.
The City has said that a new date will be scheduled.
