Belleville Police Service encouraging residents to view the details of their proposed 2026 budget

The Belleville Police Service has released a statement to the public, outlining their proposed operating budget for this year.

Heather Smith, Chair of the Police Services Board, added that the full document online, breaks down the money it takes to continue to provide around the clock support to the community, along with officer training.

Belleville Police are requesting $33.5 million dollars this year.

Belleville Council will review the budget at their meeting on Wednesday, February 25th.
