The annual soup contest in downtown Belleville was another huge success.
The Belleville Downtown BIA has released the winners of the 22nd annual Savour The Chill event, that was held on Saturday.
People’s Choice Award:
*1st place: Capers – Savoury Gruyere Potato & Onion Bisque with Sourdough Bread Crumble
*2nd place: The Kafana, Ukrainian Borscht with Garlic Pampushki
*3rd place: Paulo’s & Dinkles, Vegetable
Judge’s Choice Award:
*1st place: The Kafana
*2nd place: Capers
*3rd place: Frosty Bubble Bliss, Creamy Tamarind Bliss
Proceeds from a hot chocolate fundraiser outside during the event, went to Gleaners Foodbank.
