The Trenton Golden Hawks and Wellington Dukes in the Ontario Junior Hockey League will kick off the first-round of the playoffs tonight.
Trenton finished first in the OJHL’s Eastern Conference, and are the defending Buckland Cup champions. Wellington wrapped up the season in sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Wellington has made it now to the playoffs for 37 straight seasons.
Trenton will face the Lindsay Muskies, while Wellington will face the Pickering Panthers in the first-round of the playoffs.
