Both local hockey OJHL teams kicked off their playoffs over the weekend.
Pickering beat Wellington 3-1 yesterday, to extend their lead in the best-of-seven series to 2-0. Game 3 will take place tomorrow afternoon in Pickering.
The defending Buckland Cup Champions, The Trenton Golden Hawks are off to a strong start against the Lindsey Muskies. Trenton has a 2-0 lead in the series. Game 3 will take place tomorrow in Trenton at 7:30 p.m.
